The Mossberg Patriot Super Bantam is a compact bolt-action hunting rifle chambered in .243 Win, purpose-built for younger and smaller-statured shooters. Its 20″ fluted barrel and black synthetic stock with an adjustable length-of-pull (12″ to 13″) let the rifle grow with the shooter, making it a smart pick for first-time hunters and a dependable compact companion in the deer woods or on varmint patrol.
At the core of the Patriot platform is Mossberg’s patented Lightning Bolt Action (LBA) trigger, user-adjustable from 2 to 7 lbs so you can dial in a clean, custom-feeling break. The spiral-fluted bolt with a knurled handle cycles smoothly and positively, while the button-rifled, free-floated 20″ barrel is finished in matte blued metal and capped with a recessed crown for accuracy and durability. A stainless steel receiver provides long-term corrosion resistance, and the 1:10″ twist stabilizes a wide range of .243 Win bullet weights for both target and hunting use. The crossbolt safety sits forward of the trigger for fast, intuitive engagement.
This Super Bantam combo ships ready to shoot, including a detachable 5-round box magazine and a factory-mounted, boresighted 3-9x40mm scope so younger shooters get a turnkey hunting package right out of the box. Right-hand configuration, no iron sights (scope only), overall length 38.50″, and a carry-friendly 7.50 lbs.
