Buffalo Bore .500 S&W ammunition features a 440 gr. hard cast lead flat nose (L.F.N.) bullet, optimized for super deep penetration on large game. With a muzzle energy of 2,579 ft. lbs. and a velocity of 1,625 fps, this load provides three or more feet of tissue and bone destruction. The flat nose design ensures considerable damage, making it ideal for hunting applications. Safe to fire in any steel frame revolver or rifle chambered in .500 S&W that is in good working condition. New production, non-corrosive, and comes in reloadable brass cases. Not suitable for scandium or aluminum alloy revolvers.
