Description
Cold Hammer Forging ofbarrels has been known for decades to produce the most accurate, longestlasting rifle barrels obtainable. The Cold Hammer Forging of barrelsis accomplished through intensehydraulic pressure applied at opposingangles by carbide steel hammers. During the hammering process, amandrel is inserted into the bore while the carbide steel hammers shapethe barrel around the mandrelcreating the chamber, the lands, and thegrooves. In addition to the aforementioned benefits, the ColdHammerForging process creates a defect free bore and the most consistentchamber possible.
All Daniel Defense barrels are made from startto finish in our state-of-the-art facility located inBlack Creek, GA.In keeping with our heritage of not cutting corners, all barrels featurea forgedchamber, chrome lining, and heavy phosphate exterior coating.They are all MP tested on-site and areavailable in multipleconfigurations which includes barrel only; barrel with Front Sight Base;andbarrel with FSB, gas tube, and delta Ring assembly. These barrelswill prove themselves to be moreaccurate and last longer than a barrelthat has cut or button rifling.
