Wejust can’t help not accepting the status quo. Bolt carrier groups areavailable aplenty, but few could meet our exacting standards forperformance and value. Seeing “MIL-SPEC” as just the starting point, weset out to ensure the best options are available for our demandingcustomers.
Improvements include using 9310 tool steel for thebolt, which is stronger and nitriding the assembly to increase surfacehardness, decrease resistance, and have superior corrosion resistancecompared to typical chrome and phosphasted bolt carrier groups. Allbolts are fully MPI tested to ensure the material is sound and withoutdefects. Bolt lugs are chamfered 45 degrees to ensure reliable actionfor even the highest pressure hand loads and fast lightweight actions.
FaxonBolt Carrier Groups are Superfinished to reduce friction, increasesmoothness of operation, and reduce fouling. Further, they are full-Autorated and maintain the trip for full-auto fire control groups and newmulti-stage trigger systems. Gas keys use grade 8 fasteners and arefully staked for a lifetime of service.
