The FN America 16″ 5.56 Button Cut Carbine Gas AR-15 M4 Barrel is apremium barrel that lives up to the battle tested reputation of FNAmerica. Broaching or button rifling consistently produces the mostaccurate barrels and is strongly preferred by the vast majority of allbench rest competitors. None would choose a cold hammer forged barrelwhere accuracy is preferred. Button Broached and Chrome Lined give youthe best of both worlds with outstanding durability and accuracy.
The barrel is designed to be extremely durable and reliable with ahigh-strength 41V50 chrome moly vanadium construction and a blackmanganese phosphate finish. This barrel is chambered in 5.56 NATO/.223Remington with a 1:7 twist rate and 1/2”x28 threaded barrel for optimalperformance and functionality. It boasts achrome lined chamber andboreto extend the barrel’s service life and ensure reliable chamberingand extraction. The 5.56 M4 Barrel features a M4 feed ramp to promoteconsistent and reliable feeding.
