Hodge Defense Systems bolt carrier groups are no frills, black nitrided bolt carrier groups made to Jim Hodge’s specs — which mirror MILSPEC standards.
The bolt material is 158 Carpenter steel, when manufactured and heat treated correctly is actually slightly stronger than MILSPEC bolts. These bolts are manufactured correctly.
