OMEGA Valve Mod. 1 MKII – MCX Tunable Gas Valve
The next evolution of the JBD OMEGA Valve – the first tuneable gas valve for the Sig Sauer MCX. The MKII features a redesigned index flange and aggressively textured knob to make them easier to adjust, with an additional improvement to the gas flow path on the 4th position for better reliability.
Some notable features about the MKII
- Instead of indexing on a ball detent within the gas block, it indexes on the gas valve retaining pin, allowing for four gas positions as opposed to the original two found on the OEM Sig valves.
- Aggressive textured knob for easier function
- Utilizes extended gas flow paths to delay entry of the gas into the expansion chamber of the Valve, slowing down the cycling of the rifle. An improvement in the OMEGA Valve Mod. 1 MKII is a shortened slot in Position 4 to allow for greater reliability when shooting unsuppressed and/or with silencers with an exceedingly high flow rate.
- Utilizes PMM SCAR Jet Screw Trays, allowing the user to vent excess gas out of the front of the OMEGA Valve. Also available are the JBD Jet Screw Trays HERE
- Armor Forge Nano Shield HLC for supreme lubricity and excellent heat mitigation while delivering a beautiful, deep, glossy black coating.

- Mod. 1 MKII – Sig MCX Virtus 5.56, Sig Spear LT 5.56, Sig MCX 7.62×39 Suppressed Rifles
- Mod. 2 MKII – Sig Sauer MCX Virtus, Rattler, Spear LT, and Rattler LT line of 300BLK rifles
