Description
The Ka-Bar 1217 USMC is the iconic full-size fighting/utility fixed blade knife that has served U.S. Marines and outdoorsmen since World War II and remains in active production today. It features a 7″ clip point blade ground from 1095 Cro-Van high-carbon steel and finished in a non-reflective black epoxy powder coat for corrosion resistance in the field. The blade carries a plain edge and is tang stamped USMC.
The handle is the classic oval-shaped, stacked brown leather grip that has defined the USMC knife for generations, providing a secure, comfortable hold even during extended use. With an overall length of 11.88″ and a weight of 11.20 oz, the Ka-Bar 1217 is purpose-built as a multi-purpose fixed blade for combat, field utility, bushcraft, and general outdoor work.
