The LEAP/02 is a state-of-the-art 2.26-inch mount designed to redefine the standard for mounting Aimpoint Micro T-2 footprint optics at a 2.26-inch height. It is the lightest 2.26-inch height red dot sight mount available, weighing just 63 grams (2.22 oz), and includes hard mounting points for future extensibility. Engineered for maximum strength without compromising weight, the LEAP/02 holds and returns to zero under any condition, guaranteed.
The mount features a modular design that can be extended with an optional bolt-on Picatinny rail for co-witnessing standard height flip-to-side magnifiers. Compared to the UNITY FAST FST-MIC mount (99 grams), the LEAP/02 is 64% lighter when weighed under the same conditions, including rail screws. It is the strongest Aimpoint Micro T-2 quick-detach mount tested, benchmarked against top quick-detach mounts using a digital test stand up to 1500 lbs of force. The design was refined through Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and extensive stress tests for optimal performance.
The LEAP/02 incorporates the ClickDrive quick-detach system for efficient, recoil-proof attachment, with a low-profile thumbscrew and low-friction telescoping clamp that requires only hand torque. It features a slight forward cant for improved functionality and allows visibility of A2 BUIS through the base.
