The Civilian One Bulletproof Backpack can be worn as a bulletproof vest. You’ll have one bulletproof panel protecting your front, and one bulletproof panel protecting your back. Each panel has NIJ rated level IIA protection which is some of the same protection that is used by law enforcement in the USA and even most of the world. In the event of an active shooter situation, your backpack can protect you from handgun rounds up to .44 magnum, 9 mm submachine gun rounds, and even 12 gauge shotgun rounds.

Another great feature is the anti-indentity theft RFID pocket. If you have sensitive information, you can put it in the RFID pocket which is located on the back of your backpack. This will protect credit cards, passports,, and other personal data from pickpockets and RFID readers. The fabric is also water resistant. It is made with 1000D Cordova Nylon material.
