AR-10 URR – Upper Receiver Rod
The Midwest Industries URR is the gold standard of reaction rods and a tool we think everyone who works on their rifles should own. The 308 URR is an ideal tool for installing and removing muzzle devices and seized / stuck barrel nuts without damaging your index pin on your AR10 / LR308 rifle. The URR has a top sail that indexes through the top channel of your upper and indexes with the extension keeping both the upper and barrel stable when applying torque to any parts such as the barrel nut or muzzle device.
The 308 URR is compatible with both forged and billet LR308 & AR10 upper receivers and does not require the removal of any optics or sights for installation. The 308 URR is designed to be mounted in a vice and can be mounted horizontal or vertically. Outside of the obvious intended design of the URR for muzzle devices and barrel nuts, it’s an extremely useful tool to have handy if working on any rail mounted components; installation and removal of handguards, rail mounted components (lasers, lights, etc) and much more.
