The PMC Bronze 308B is a 308 Winchester rifle cartridge built around a 147-grain Full Metal Jacket Boat Tail bullet. Designed for high-volume target shooting and range training, it leaves the barrel at 2780 fps and produces 2522 ft lbs of muzzle energy, giving it a flat trajectory and the consistency recreational shooters and reloaders look for.
Every PMC cartridge passes through an electronic powder-check station during loading. If the propellant charge in any single round varies by as little as two-tenths of one grain, that round is pulled and rejected, giving the Bronze line its reputation for round-to-round consistency and dependable accuracy. The brass case is fully reloadable, so recovered brass can be reworked for further range use, and the FMJ-BT profile with a tapered boat-tail base helps the bullet retain velocity and resist drift at longer distances.
