Its black polymer body is precision-molded for a secure, low-profile fit, with the follower, lock-plate, and base-plate formed from a proprietary DuPont Zytel-based compound for corrosion resistance and impact toughness in the field.
Internally, the SKS02 uses a chrome-silicon wire spring for consistent feed tension, and the reinforced feed lips help keep rounds aligned under rough handling.
