It is part art, part furniture, and all security. Each safe is hand antiqued and distressed to accentuate the natural variations in the steel, producing an heirloom qualify piece for your home or office!
The Rhino Ironworks CIWD6030X Gun Safe has a full 85 minutes of fire protection, tested at outside temperatures up to 1,400 degrees F. The advanced protection uses 3 layers of 5/8″ fireboard in the ceiling and door plus 2 layers on the walls and floor. This keeps the heat out of your safe protecting your contents. A heat-activated door seal expands up to 7 times its size which seals the door edge to help keep out heat and smoke.
The security protection on the Rhino Ironworks CIWD6030X Gun Safe is just as good as the looks and the fire protection. It uses a heavy duty 12 gauge formed steel body plus a 12 gauge composite door. A ball bearing drill plate protects against drill attacks. There are 1.25″ diameter bolts for a total of 13 on all 4 sides of the door to prevent any pry attacks. This gun safe is certified by UL as a Residential Security Container (RSC) and meets or exceeds the California Department of Justice for acceptable gun standards. The door is locked by a UL-approved dial combination lock or digital electronic lock.
The inside of the Rhino Ironworks CIWD6030X Gun Safe will hold 35 long guns and 6 handguns. It weighs a total of 660 pounds and features outside dimensions of 60.00″ H x 30.00″ W x 25.00″ D. Make sure to add 3″ for the handle, lock, and hinges. Inside is a deluxe door organizer for more storage options plus a distressed leatherette interior fabric. The interior walls and shelves are finished with plush fabric. A factory-installed USB-equipped outlet is standard inside to plugin a light kit, dehumidifier, and other electronic items. The outside uses a large 3-spoke cast iron hand wheel to open and close the door.
