Schlage B562P 626 C Commercial Grade Double Cylinder Deadbolt – Satin Chrome
The Schlage B562P 626 double cylinder deadbolt is one of five commercial-grade deadbolts. Each one is a different finish to match your existing hardware. The B562P is part of the Schlage Commercial B-Series Collection. With the double cylinder function, you need a key to retract the latch from either side. This restricts people from leaving or entering the premises without the use of a key.
The bolt-on the Schlage B562P 626 double cylinder deadbolt is 10% larger than typical bolts that come with most deadbolts. It is also more secure and features an anti-pry shield behind the latch which prevents picking and holds the lock in place during installation. This latch also has a thicker metal security strike backup on the jamb side and a third screw inside the cup for deeper anchoring into the door. The solid zinc bolt also features a hardened steel pin inside that spins in response to a sawing attack and cannot be cut through. Are you concerned about which backset you need? The keyway on the B562P 626 is a Schlage “C” 6-pin keyway.
