Description

The Smith & Wesson Model 60 is a compact revolver built on the legendary J-Frame platform, chambered for the powerful .357 Magnum cartridge while also accepting .38 Special +P ammunition. Introduced by Smith & Wesson in 1965 as the first regular-production stainless steel revolver, the Model 60 pairs corrosion-resistant construction with the concealability of a small-frame design, making it one of the most enduring choices for personal protection.

This variant features a 2.125-inch satin-finished barrel and a matching 5-round cylinder, offering a balance of shootability and easy concealment. The stainless steel J-Frame is finished in satin stainless for low maintenance, while the double-action/single-action (DA/SA) trigger provides flexibility for both rapid defensive fire and precise single-action shooting. An exposed hammer allows manual single-action cocking for more accurate shot placement.

The revolver is fitted with black finger-groove synthetic grips for a secure hold and a blade front sight paired with a fixed rear sight for fast target acquisition. At 21.4 ounces unloaded with an overall length of 6.56 inches, the Model 60 carries comfortably without sacrificing the controllability needed for full-power .357 Magnum loads. The all-stainless build shrugs off humidity, perspiration, and adverse weather, making it ideal for daily carry.

This is a California Compliant configuration, approved for sale and ownership in the State of California. Manufactured by Smith & Wesson in the USA, the Model 60 remains a benchmark small-frame defensive revolver, combining proven revolver reliability with the versatility of .357 Magnum / .38 Special +P chambering.
