The Smith & Wesson Model 60 is a compact revolver built on the legendary J-Frame platform, chambered for the powerful .357 Magnum cartridge while also accepting .38 Special +P ammunition. Introduced by Smith & Wesson in 1965 as the first regular-production stainless steel revolver, the Model 60 pairs corrosion-resistant construction with the concealability of a small-frame design, making it one of the most enduring choices for personal protection.
This variant features a 2.125-inch satin-finished barrel and a matching 5-round cylinder, offering a balance of shootability and easy concealment. An exposed hammer allows manual single-action cocking for more accurate shot placement.
