The ASTOR is Spartan’s first folding knife collaboration with prolific custom knifemaker Les George. The ASTOR was built as a robust “Work Horse” of a knife! From its G10 composite scales, thick liner-lock, and high ground premium CTS-XHP blade steel, the ASTOR is the perfect knife for those jobs requiring an extra bit of toughness. The deep carry pocket clip can be configured for left-hand carry by switching to the left side and using the dual thumb studs. All at an affordable price!
All Spartan Blades Bronze (Field) Grade folders incorporate their “Oil-Infused Bronze Bushing System” or “OIBBS”! These sintered bronze bushings are impregnated with oil which reduces the friction on the blade, thus giving you a tight but smooth blade opening. This system is especially useful for slow speeds, intermittent use, and uneven loads such as are found on folding knives.
